NetControl® manages Sharp projectors and LCD monitors
QuickLogix' s NetControl software is controlling AV equipment at InfoComm show
Cross Roads, Texas, USA, June 07, 2004 - NetControl® software solutions will be presented at this year's InfoComm show (09 - 11 June) in Atlanta, Georgia - USA. NetControl software controls projector and LCD monitor equipment at the Sharp Electronics booth. NetControl is a software tool for audiovisual applications to assist in controlling and maintaining projectors and LCD monitors over an ordinary TCP/IP network.
Audiovisual end user, educational users, and AV dealers can see the latest NetControl® 1.5 Advanced Software Package release in "action" at the Sharp Electronics Corporation booth (no. 1041) at the InfoComm show in Atlanta, Georgia. With its latest software update NetControl® supports many additional projectors including Mitsubishi models and the latest Sharp network projector models. NetControl will be integrated in a TCP/IP network to control and manage Sharp projector and LCD monitor products through the Sharp AN-LS1 TCP/IP interface. QuickLogix staff will be present to explain and demonstrate the software to interested customers and clients.
NetControl® software gives you the ability to do remote maintenance of audiovisual equipment from your computer without actually seeing the AV equipment. It is designed to run in 24/7 applications. NetControl® is compatible for use with Microsoft® Windows® 2000 and Microsoft® Windows® XP.
NetControl® 1.5 software release includes support for the Extron IPL T S Series TCP/IP interfaces. The new NetControl® update can access Extron IP Link interfaces to control data and video projectors, LCD monitors and other audiovisual equipment.
All NetControl® control tasks, such as event scheduling, anti-theft control, status reporting, E-mail notification and main projector control, are compatible with the Extron interfaces with no additional programming required. The new update will be a free update for registered users of the NetControl® Advanced Package.
